Coach Paxton, brings a lifetime of baseball experience and passion to coaching.   Greg is a California native, born and raised in the Bay Area.  He attended Ygnacio Valley High School and Diablo Valley College before moving on to Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.  At Cal Poly, Greg was named CCAA Pitcher of the Year and earned All American honors while leading the Mustangs to their first ever National Championship.  Greg graduated for Cal Poly SLO in 1990 with a B.S. in Business.

After Cal Poly, Greg signed with the Cleveland Indians and played two seasons in the Gulf Coast League and California League.  

 From his playing experience, Coach Paxton brings a passion for the game and a love of coaching.  Greg has been involved with various baseball organizations over the years, including locally with Quito Little League, both as a Board Member, mentor and coach. Greg has coached multiple travel ball seasons with Sirious and is top level pitching coach.
